Teen Classes for 12 to 17 year olds
Improv Basics
Instructor - Paul Mattingly
While reviewing the agreements of improvisation, this class builds confidence through ensemble energy. Students begin doing scenes and continue to develope basic skills in space work, agreement, teamwork, spontaneity and focus.
Intermediate Improv continues the student’s understanding of the fundamentals of Improvisation learned in Basic while expanding their ability to convey emotion and create fully realized three-dimensional characters. Various proven exercises will allow the student to focus on relationship, emotion and ensemble each week, increasing the student’s ability to improvise characters and situations and fully explore the possibilities brought on by their own ideas. This six week class culminates with a student showcase.
Advanced Improv
Instructor - Matt Donnelly
An on-going intensive study of improvisation through all facets of structure and scene work inevitably leading to long form improvisation. Students should have successfully completed Basic and Intermediate Improv or qualify through past experience or programs in order to comfortably and successfully participate in this class. This six week class culminates with a student showcase.
Sketch Comedy Writing
Instructor - Matt Donnelly

Learn about equipment, locations, script writing and developing your story line, production, directing, your actors, editing and everything else you wanted to know about getting started making short films or strengthening your skills as an ametuer film maker.
